Limitations
The tool preserves original page quality, selectable text, links, forms, and document structure outside redacted regions instead of converting every page to an image. PDF internals can cause a match to cover nearby glyphs, so visually review the result and confirm accessibility requirements. Image-only or un-OCRed pages and text not entered still need visual review in the full Redact workflow. Modifying a signed PDF invalidates its signatures and requires confirmation.
