Terms of Service
The agreement between your team and Vault PDF when you create an account or subscribe to a paid plan.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vault PDF, operated by Your Company Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use Vault PDF on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Vault PDF provides browser-local PDF tools and team collaboration features for teams handling confidential client documents. Core PDF operations run in your browser; we do not upload PDF file contents to our servers for those tools.
- New workspaces receive a 7-day Team trial (3 users) unless otherwise stated at signup. No credit card is required during the trial.
- Paid plans are Starter (1 user), Team (3 users), and Compliance (10 users). If you need a higher user limit, contact support.
- Billing is processed by Dodo Payments. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal in your account.
- Prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at the current rate until the end of the billing period in which notice is given, unless you agree to a new price.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Refunds are handled according to Dodo Payments policies and applicable law. Contact divya@vault-pdf.com if you believe you were charged in error.
You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and client obligations. You agree not to:
- Use the service to process unlawful content
- Attempt to bypass security controls or access other users' data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense the service without written permission
Vault PDF, its branding, and the underlying software remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain all rights to documents you process locally in your browser.
Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated when possible. The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Company Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including liability limits and intellectual property) remain in effect.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data. Core PDF tools process files in your browser and do not upload PDF bytes to our servers. EU customers may also review our GDPR page.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice to account owners.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Your Company Ltd's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes should first be raised with divya@vault-pdf.com so we can attempt to resolve them informally.
